MECH 498 – Introduction to Aerospace Propulsion

Undergraduate elective, California State University, Chico, Department of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing, 2026

A new technical elective developed to connect mechanical engineering students with the aerospace industry. Drawing on my background in aerospace engineering, the course introduces the fundamentals of jet propulsion while demonstrating how core mechanical engineering concepts are applied to real aerospace systems.

MECH 338 – Heat Transfer

Undergraduate course, California State University, Chico, Department of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing, 2024

Fundamental principles of heat transfer with engineering applications. Emphasis on analytical and numerical solution methods and design-oriented problem solving in thermal systems.

MECH 208 – Introduction to Technical Computing

Undergraduate course, California State University, Chico, Department of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing, 2024

MATLAB programming, numerical problem solving, and engineering computation for mechanical engineers. Students develop practical skills in scientific computing through hands-on projects connected to real thermal-fluid engineering problems.
